Women in ancient Egypt enjoyed freedom in everything. They enjoyed huge privileges as men. It took many centuries before the community back some semblance of such equality.
Egyptian society was sexually liberated. For example, premarital sex is not considered shameful, indeed, they were the norm at the time.
Women could own property independently of their husbands and had the right to initiate a divorce, not being ashamed of condemnation of society. The fairer sex could also inherit the title of pharaoh.
